HN578 Multi-Block Copolymer Silicone Oil adopts the latest block copolymer design concept and is synthesized using special modifiers. It is particularly suitable for polyester, nylon, cotton, wool, and their blended fabrics. After treatment, the fabric exhibits excellent soft, fluffy, and fine hand feel.
HN578 is a high-content block silicone oil with a solid content of up to 70%. Customers can self-emulsify it, or add isopropanol or butyl ether to reach 50–60% content before self-emulsifying according to their desired style requirements. Alternatively, it can be emulsified with emulsifiers at different oil-to-emulsifier ratios. Depending on the solvent ratio and type, products with different styles can be obtained, with hand feel mainly characterized by softness and fineness.

3.1 Emulsification Process (Method 1):
Add the crude oil and required solvent to the reactor, stir for 20 minutes. Then add 2% glacial acetic acid (based on crude oil weight) and stir for 20 minutes. Add stabilizer, then gradually add a small amount of water slowly. When the system becomes thin from thick, the water addition rate can be appropriately increased. After dilution, the emulsion becomes a semi-transparent to transparent uniform emulsion. Depending on the solvent used, the appearance of the emulsion may vary. Recommended dosage of stabilizer N19: 3% based on crude oil weight.
3.2 Emulsification Process (Method 2):
Add the crude oil, solvent, emulsifier, and stabilizer to the reactor, stir for 30 minutes. Then add 1% glacial acetic acid (based on crude oil weight). Gradually add a small amount of water slowly. When the system becomes thin from thick, the water addition rate can be appropriately increased. After dilution, the emulsion becomes a transparent liquid.
Recommended oil-to-emulsifier ratio: 4:1. Recommended emulsifier ratio: TO5 : TO7 : Stabilizer N19 = 4.5 : 4.5 : 1.
Precautions: During dilution, the amount of water added at the initial stage must be small and slow. Only after the added water is fully dispersed into the system should the next portion of water be added. Continue until the system changes from thick to thin, then it can be easily diluted into a uniform emulsion.
Recommended Dosage:
·Padding process: 15–30 g/L
·Exhaustion process: 3–5% (o.w.f.)
Customers may adjust the dosage appropriately according to their hand feel requirements.
Packaging: 120 kg plastic drum.
