Down-Proof & Wind-Proof Finishing Agent (Synthetic Fiber)

The Down-Proof & Wind-Proof Finishing Agent is a new type of special high molecular polymer complex that forms a dense cross-linked film on the fiber surface. It is soft and does not affect hand feel, allowing the fabric to meet expected requirements. It is used for windproof and anti-down finishing of nylon, polyester, and their blended fabrics, effectively reducing the fabric's air permeability index and preventing down from poking through.

Compatibility

Compatible with non-ionic and weakly cationic auxiliaries. 

Note! Do not use in the same bath with anionic auxiliaries.

1. Low air permeability and windproof index, good anti-down effect.

2. Air permeability between 20–30, anti-down，It can achieve below 12 counts.

3. Minimal impact on shade and whiteness.

4. Does not affect waterproof performance.

Windproof and anti-down softening finishing of polyester, nylon, their blended fabrics, and high-count, high-density fabrics. (A windproof agent for cotton is available as a separate product.)

Application method: 50–200 g/L (specific dosage depends on yarn count and fabric density)
Process flow: Padding (dry fabric feeding, down-proof agent 50–200 g/L, softener and other auxiliaries as appropriate) → Setting → Calendering 1–2 times (calendering pressure approx. 10, roller temperature approx. 80–90°C)

·Packaging 125 kg/drum
·Storage Store in a cool, well-ventilated place. Shelf life: 6 months.
