Characteristics of the Softener Emulsion
1.Flowing liquid.
2.Provides soft, full, and elastic hand feel to fabrics.
3.Suitable for various fibers, mainly used for cellulose fibers.
4.Non-yellowing.
5.Suitable for exhaustion and padding processes.
6.Can be used in the same bath with resin finishing agents.
Exhaustion process:
1. Dosage: 1.0–3.0% of 20% softener emulsion
2. pH: 4–6
3. Time: 20–30 minutes
4. Temperature: 40–60°C
Padding process:
1. Dosage: 20–60 g/L of 20% softener emulsion
2. Conventional drying temperature
1. Dispersible in hot water. The following processing methods are feasible:
2. Mix acetic acid and water at 50–60°C, then slowly add the solid softener flakes. Mix evenly, then stir and cool.
3. Mix water, acetic acid, and solid softener flakes at 20–25°C, stir and heat to 50–60°C, mix evenly, then stir and cool.
4. Mix solid softener flakes and acetic acid in 50–60°C hot water, mix evenly, then stir and cool.
5. Recommended concentration: 20%
·Storage stability: At least 24 months.
·Storage and transport: Heat stable.
